ICE issued an internal memo barring all employees, not just field agents, from wearing Meta smart glasses while on duty. The agency warned that “the use of Meta Glasses or similar devices could unintentionally capture, record, or transmit sensitive information, potentially compromising privacy and legal protections,” after agents were seen wearing the glasses during raids and at protests.
