The UK Cinema Association (UKCA) said many of its member cinemas are introducing policies to prohibit and/or restrict the wearing of camera-enabled smart glasses in their venues, citing concerns around privacy and film piracy. The move follows similar bans by UK pub and theatre operators, including Wetherspoons.
